OUR STORY
After 20 years working for the Army National Guard, our owner, Donald Ray Bolton Jr. was interested in building a successful business. After considering the options, he decided to use his previous experience in lawn service (15 years) to create Dirt Cheap Tractor Work & More LLC in 2017.
Soon after starting with debris removal and tractor work services, it was clear there was a demand for dependable tree service in the area, a field in which our founder had also previously worked. This led to DCTW’s expansion into tree services as a licensed arborist. DCTW is also certified by the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. We truly enjoy the type of work that we do and the daily challenges that come with this work. At DCTW, we learn something new every day. Meeting so many great people and being able to help them is one of the best things about our work.

Donald Ray Bolton Jr.

After serving in the Louisiana Army National Guard for 20 years, Ray started Dirt Cheap Tractor Work and More LLC in order to provide the community with dependable tree services, debris removal, demolition, & a variety of other services. He built the business from scratch and enjoys being able to watch it grow. He also enjoys being able to meet and help so many great people as well as being able to employ a dependable and hardworking team. He appreciates that his work isn’t always at a desk and enjoys being able to learn something new every day.

He is a graduate of Pineville High School and Louisiana State University at Alexandria with a concentration in small business management. Ray is also a retired Commissioned Officer in the United States Army and a Graduate of the Infantry Officer Basic Course. He deployed to both Iraq (2010) and Afghanistan (2003). Ray is proud to serve Central Louisiana where he lives with his wife, Valerie, and son, Donald Ray Bolton III (Trey).
